Strong thoughts and opinions from the corner suites and the corners of our minds
We are Oris4 and this is our blog. This space represents our view of the world of business in general, our industry of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and even exciting programming and development innovations. We’ll investigate and castigate the interesting and sometimes irritating stuff that happens in all of those worlds.
This space is not about shamelessly self-promoting our product (though it is beyond awesome), it is about sharing the views of our team on how we think the business world needs to manage its information and why that’s important to everyone – even you.
Just to keep you on your toes however, we will occasionally delve into seemingly unrelated topics about things that either please or bug us in the business world. It will likely tend towards the things that bug us, because ranting can be more fun than raving in most cases and it’s therapeutic – for us anyway.
Just so you know, our blogs will authored by a variety of smart folks at Oris4, and then there’s me, Andrew Doyle, the CEO. I’ll spout on about general business topics and related subjects. My co-founder and partner, Peter Hickey, President and CIO, will dive into the ECM space a little deeper and always have an opinion. Christien Lomax will head up the technical submissions. As our lead developer and head of that team, please expect him to piss some of you off with his assessments and amaze you with his openness to new ideas. Frank McKinnon and Leslie Flemming will both chime in from time to time with their view on all of these subjects with a decidedly customer focus (psst, that’s you. We hope).
So that’s what you’ll find here. No stuffy analysis, but analysis nonetheless, peppered with opinions, links to real articles and facts. You might agree or disagree with our thoughts and opinions. That’s fine. We welcome the debate.
Mostly.
Sometimes we may just call you names here at the office after you comment. But you’ll likely be doing the same in the comments section so we think that it all comes out in the wash. See? I feel better already. We hope you do too. More to come – weekly-ish – so please stay tuned.
